Thankfulness...
I thought in honor of Thanksgiving I would make a list of some things I am thankful for.- My salvation
- My husband who tries very hard to be a good leader in our home
- My kids
- A house I can call my own
- My friends who encourage edifiy and rebuke me with their words..
- The measure of good health I have
- Forgiveness- all facets
- Tomorrows (mercies renewed every morning)
- Clean water/hot water
- Heat
- Not knowing what hunger truly is...
- Having a car to be able to run to the store for whatever I could possibly want
- My internet to be able to find what I can't find at the store
- My sister-accepting me as the religious wacko that I am *wink*
- My other family- I am who I am because of them, be it good or bad...
- Sleep (my sister-in-law couldn't sleep for months because of her chemo)
- The soldiers who fight to keep my nation's principles
- The freedoms I still have
- 1 John 1:9
- You! (and your comments *giggles*)
I suppose I could keep going on and on and on...I try to be thankful for even the little things in a more active way. I try to keep it in the forefront of my mind, so I don't forget how blessed I am every day of the year, not just Thanksgiving Day.
RECALLED!
The Maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart. This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Subsequential Internal Non-Morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this SIN defect. The Repair Technician, Jesus, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

I enjoyed reading your thankful list today. I have been MIA, but we are back home now! Thanksgiving was such a blessing. God is restoring and mending relationships in my life and it is awesome.
You know, your list made me think of one thing. Every time I take a shower I am so thankful for clean water! I often verbally thank the Lord for clean water while I am bathing. It is such a blessing!

I have been off for several days and now I am playing catch up.
I am thankful for my other family too. They have been great tools used by God in my life.
And I was reminded of the verse when Jesus told us that we should be will to leave behind father,mother, brother, sister to follow Him. I am sure some of those had to leave because they were thought to be crazy. Keep following Him girl!
