Jessica asked me to write her this verse (my first paying customer LOL) before I injured my hand last year. I made it back then. The original is here. But I messed it up and wasn't happy with it. While, since then, I haven't been able to write, I have read and studied books to get better. This is actually my first real attempt at the painting. I've never really painted before so it was challenging. And yes, I of course find some issues with it. None that I am going to share!

Now just to let you know...sometimes a friend just needs to give us a friendly "smack" when we don't see what God has given us.
So get ready....smack!....girl, God has blessed you with an ability...don't stop using it.
Did you use water color? I have really enjoyed using it in the past...although it is very unforgiving if you "mess" up.

No, I used acrylics because it was all I had. The calligraphers who give me advice said I should use watercolors because they are more suitable to this kind of work. Maybe next time...
